Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax is collected for orders shipping to the state of New York, and any other US State that requires Regent Bond, Inc. to do so. It is the Buyer's responsibility to pay all applicable taxes as well as follow all laws and regulations in his/her respective cities, counties, and/or states.
Pro size products, testers, samples and support materials cannot be tax exempt as they are not intended/allowed for resale and the Buyer is also the end user. Retail and travel size products can be tax exempted if the Buyer is going to resell them and collect sales tax from his/her customer. To get tax exemption the Buyer must provide a valid Resale Certificate to Regent Bond, Inc. prior to placing an order. Please see chart below.

Steps To Get Tax Exemption

Register as a seller

2) | Obtain a sales tax Certificate of Authority

3) | Submit a Resale Certificate Form ST-120 to Regent Bond, Inc. (Instructions below)

Instructions For Completing Form ST-120
This form should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Parts of the form have already been filled in. Below are basic instructions for completing the rest of the form. Please refer to page 2 for detailed instructions and more information.

If the Resale Certificate is submitted during regular business hours, your account should be updated within an hour. Please be advised Regent Bond, Inc. has the right to refuse to accept the exemption certificate, even if it was completed entirely and properly. In such case, Regent Bond, Inc. will charge the Buyer sales tax for all items in his/her order. Buyer may use Form AU-11 to apply for a refund of the sales tax.
